I watched Small Town Gay Bar the other night, and (as a southern boy) would definitely recommend a viewing.
Especially if you've grown up near a large(r) city.
While it applies to all of us in some aspects, it's a good view into what happens when 99% of the world is built without you in mind--and what can happen when you find the 1% that has something in common.

Undecided
So Thomas Roberts is hosting the Miss Universe pageant after Andy Cohen dropped out in protest to Russia's horribly homophobic laws.
I have to say I find this interesting/intriguing. One gay man boycotts and then another gay man comes in to take his place. Thomas is very openly gay, so the pageant and Donald Trump had to know he was gay when they signed him up.
"Pop Culture" gay boycotts and "journalist" gay replaces him. They couldn't find a straight guy to take this gig? Ratings whore rules the pageant?
Unlike others, I'm not immediately going to criticize Thomas. If young gay boys (anywhere) know that an openly gay man is hosting in the face of a homophobic regime... it could be seen as positive.
Is it important to make a statement against Russia's HORRIBLE laws and behavior? Of course! But just maybe Thomas is making a statement.
I will reserved my judgment for a bit...and give it some thought.
